Electronic Cigarette Review

I know this is short notice guys but I just found out about SB 400 yesterday which would ban the sale of eCigs in California.

SB400 was originally an alternative energy bill, but was strangely amended to only ban electronic cigarettes and no longer makes any mention of energy.

If Governor Schwarzenegger does not veto this bill by close of business tomorrow, Friday 10-9-2009, it will become law automatically next week!

It is important that you act on this immediately even if you are not a California resident because if SB400 is allowed to pass in California it will set a bad precedent for all the other states.

SNL's Hans and Frans

Ok, I know that title of this article sounds a little arrogant, but I just got done talking to one of my e smoker friends about how our smoking habits have changed since we started smoking the e cig. We also noticed that this seems to be a common theme of conversation among veteran e cig smokers.

I just got an e-mail from Blu Cigs, a U.S. supplier of electronic cigarettes that seems pretty urgent.

Yes, I know I haven’t reviewed them yet, but I am on their e-mail list as a customer because I bought their starter kit and some cartridges a short time ago and just haven’t got around to a review yet. I was actually going to start working on it this week. Now, I am not so sure.

Anyway, the e-mail is a “recall” on their heavily touted “Blu-Pack.”

I wanted to do an ePuffer review because this was the brand of electric cigars and cigarettes smoked on “The Doctors TV Show” in January of 2009 as you can see from this link to my previous article.

I posted that article in response to the Doctors naming electric cigars and cigarettes #9 in their top 10 health trends for 2009! I figure if “The Doctors” picked ePuffer to review then it is worth it for me to take a look.

These ePuffer electric cigars are disposable which means you use them up and then you throw them away. There are no batteries to charge and no nicotine cartridges to replace which is really convenient and actually a good value I found since they last so long.

There are actually 2 models of COHITA electric cigars listed on the ePuffer website at the time of writing this review: the 1800 and the 1800E.
